The dosages recommended on glucosamine, chrondroitin, and MSM bottles are great for what I call daily maintenance type situations. What does this mean? It means that these dosages will be fine if you currently feel good and just want to keep it that way. But, what if you are currently in discomfort or even sever joint pain? You need to double up on the recommended dose for as long as it takes to reduce these symptoms. Usually this means for about a month. After that initial loading phase most people find they can cut back down to the recommended dosage for maintenance.
